ABOUT ANDI SCHOENBAUM

Andi Schoenbaum

I find that art is communication in its truest form. Whether you prepare a piece for a gallery exhibition or exchange color ideas with a child, the way in which we communicate and who we communicate with is manifested in our creative expression.

I am first and foremost a painter. My preference is oils and I also work with water based mediums. In light of my perspective toward art, I practice communication with a wide variety of people through my work. In addition to my fine art paintings that sold to private collections, I also face paint and henna tattoo children and adults at festivals as well as simplistically illustrate a greeting card line and storybooks.

My enjoyment in working on creative projects with children and adults has lead to teaching art classes. I am a Grumbacher Certified Art Instructor.
